The Multimodal Research Laboratory was established in 2021 at the Belgorod State National Research University.

Laboratory Tasks

The laboratory team is aimed at solving the following tasks:

Obtaining scientific knowledge about the content and perception by the audience of multimodal content, convergent media texts, semiotically complex elements of media phenomena.

Formation and development of new scientific directions, accumulation of world experience of scientific laboratories and centers working in the field of multimodal research.

Expansion of research tools in the field of communication science.

Collaboration with leading research centers for multimodal research.

Implementation of theoretical and practical results of scientific research into practice on the basis of contracts with individuals and legal entities.

Participation in international and federal research projects, events, exhibitions, etc.

Scientific and methodological support of media education and media educational activities in the framework of the implementation of educational programs of higher education and additional professional educational programs.
